Most Frequently Asked Questions Q. How often are practices and games? A. Practices are held twice a week (the days and times are determined by your child's coach). Games will normally be on Saturdays starting the first Saturday after Labor Day weekend. Some of the older divisions (U19, U16 and U14) have some of their games out of the Alpine area and possible games on Sundays and during the mid-week in the evenings. Q. What else will my child need? A. You will need to provide soccer shoes, shin guards and a soccer ball (size depends on age). You should also provide a water bottle of some type for practices and games. Q. When does the season start? A. Teams may begin practicing on or after August 1st. Not all teams begin practicing at the same time. The coaches will call the players after they receive their team rosters.At this time the coach will give you all the information you will need in regards to practice days, time and location.
